Sol 6.1

  1. يا مُدْنيَ الجمرةَ من خدّهِ

    صيّرتَ قلبي بينَ نارينِ

    O one who brings the ember close to his cheek,

    You have set my heart between two fires.

  2. فما عجيبٌ إن همتْ أدمعي

    تجري بها عينايَ نهرينِ

    So it is no wonder if my tears pour forth,

    My two eyes flowing with them as two rivers.
