No heart left undamaged

nor is any affection true.

No love left unblemished

وكلُّ ما يخبأ القلبُ

في العيونِ يلوحُ

في العيونِ يلوحُ

And all that the heart conceals

shows in the eyes.

In the eyes betrays

وكلنا في عناءِ

وكلنا في عناءِ

فمن إذنْ يَسترِيحُ

فمن إذنْ يَسترِيحُ

And all of us are in hardship;

We're all in misery

so who, then, finds rest?
