مطعماً غيرَ مريءْ

I loathed them when they became

Unpalatable fare.

فادعوا ان خنتهم

So they claimed that I betrayed them,

While I am free of them.

يشتهي الجيِّدَ من

يشتهي الجيِّدَ من

لا يرى إلا الرديءْ

لا يرى إلا الرديءْ

The good is craved by one who

Sees nothing but the bad.
