O kohl-dark-eyed one, lower your gaze a little.

O kohl of the eyes, soften a little

The lovers are on the verge of worshipping you.

The lovers are about to worship you

كل ما فيكَ بينهمْ مكرماتٌ

كل ما فيكَ بينهمْ مكرماتٌ

ومن المكرماتِ أن وحَّدوكا

ومن المكرماتِ أن وحَّدوكا

All that is in you is held in honor among them;

Everything in you is honorable to them

And among those honors is their proclaiming your oneness.

And honoring you brings them together

فارقبِ اللهَ في النفوسِ إذا النا

فارقبِ اللهَ في النفوسِ إذا النا

سُ غداً عن نفوسهمْ سألوكا

سُ غداً عن نفوسهمْ سألوكا

So heed God concerning souls, when the peo-
