زعموني نسيتُ والهجرُ ينسي

وتلاهيتُ بعدَ أيامِ أنسي

سائلوا النومَ هل رأتهُ عيوني

واسألوا عن هواي مالكَ نفسي

لأرى في مصارعِ الحبيبِ رمسي

من خدودٍ ومن مراشِفَ لُعْسِ

ومتى كنتُ ناقضَ العهدِ حتى

أتناسى عهودهُ بالتأسي
