You did me no harm when you lifted the burden from my neck,
When you removed the burden from my neck, I did not blame you
by withholding your bounty when I erred in seeking it.
When you refused my request due to my mistake
إعتضتI gained in exchange منfrom ذاكthat عزاًdignity باقياًlasting وحماًand protection
إعتضت من ذاك عزاً باقياً وحماً
للعرضfor honor منّيof mine وإبقاءًand preservation علىof حسبيmy noble standing
للعرض منّي وإبقاءً على حسبي
In exchange, I gained lasting dignity and protection
I gained from that lasting honor and protection
for my honor, and preservation of my noble standing.
For my dignity from me and maintaining my reputation
