I was granted intellect, but not its nobility.
I was granted wisdom but was not granted integrity
And nobility is nothing but abundant wealth.
And integrity is nothing but abundance of wealth

Whenever I strive for eminence, I am held back
If I wanted cordiality, destitution held me back
From what would make my name renowned, by my meager means.
From anything that would bring renown to my name
