أَنتَ سَماءٌ وَيَدي أَرضُها

أَنتَ سَماءٌ وَيَدي أَرضُها

وَالأَرضُ قَد تَأمَلُ غَيثَ السَما

وَالأَرضُ قَد تَأمَلُ غَيثَ السَما

You are a sky, and my hand is its earth.

You are the sky, and my hands are its land

And the earth may hope for the sky’s rain.

The land looks forward to the rain of the sky

فَاِزرَع يَداً عِندي مَحمودَةً

فَاِزرَع يَداً عِندي مَحمودَةً

تَحصُد بِها في الناسِ حُسنَ الثَنا

تَحصُد بِها في الناسِ حُسنَ الثَنا

So sow a praiseworthy favor with me;

So plant a praiseworthy hand with me

Through it you will reap fine praise among people.

With it you will reap good praise among people
