Whoever puts giving up hope in others into practice will thereby become

    forever honored in people's eyes.

And whoever regards them with the eye of the covetous will see

humiliation, and they will make him sip refusal's bitterness from a cup.

Giving up hope is better, and people yield no fruit.

Show me a man humbled before people after giving up hope in them.
