To al-Madani, a splendid calendar,

To the civil calendar a wonderful arrangement

Delighting those who behold it and bringing cheer.

That delights the beholders with it and makes happy

ومن عجب الى المنصور يعزى

ومن عجب الى المنصور يعزى

وفي التاريخ تقويم لتونس

وفي التاريخ تقويم لتونس

And, strangely, it is attributed to al-Mansur,

And of wonders to al-Mansur is attributed

And in the reckoning of time, a calendar for Tunis.
