The grave of a son of Adam—whichever you visit—offers itself
The grave of a human, wherever you visited it
for you to count it among us as the most eloquent of orators.
Compels you to count yourself among the most eloquent speakers

As if it were an interpreter for the dead, making clear
the Ever-Living grants no living soul escape from it.
That neither the living grants anyone escape

So listen with your heart to what its depths reveal;
So listen with a heart to what its essence whispers
for its speech is truth, since it knows no falsehood.
For its words are truth, since it knows no lies

They said, 'Your life is toil'; so I said to them:
They said, “Your life is toil,” so I said to them
'Would that I knew: does losing it dispel weariness?'
“Would that I knew! Do I disdain it if toil departs?”

Whoever doubts is long beset by blindly wandering delusions;
When doubts have confused the one seized by illusion
for reason is too weak to pierce the veils.
Reason is too powerless to pierce the veils

Blessed is the believer who enjoys his peace
Happy is the believer who finds peace
in this world and the next; and woe to whoever wavers.
In this world and the next, but miserable is he who is troubled

And nothing was except what was written in His tablet

The messengers brought good tidings, and it is a warner
of One who created the worlds and the ages.
Of the One who created the epochs and the eons

So whoever God guides, He saves and grants him safety;
Whomever God guides is saved, so believe him!
and through the last of them He has honored the Arabs.
And in the end, He has honored the Arabs
