My appointed end drove me to my Paris, where

My fate has led me to Paris

I met the one who severed my jugular vein.

Where I met the slitter of my veins.

فتلوت فيها إن من أموالكم

فتلوت فيها إن من أموالكم

ورجعت منها عبرة لعتيد

ورجعت منها عبرة لعتيد

Then I recited there, 'Indeed, among your wealth...'

I recited there, verily from your wealth

And I returned from it as a lesson for one yet to come.

ولدى استوائي في الضريح رحمة

And when I settled in the tomb, out of pity,

And as I was buried in the shrine, mercy

Wealth said, 'I have dated my martyr's grave.'

Said: I have covered the grave of my martyr.
