Sol 6.1

  1. أتشقى أمة انتم بنوها الدراري

    في الليالي المدلهمّة

    Can a nation suffer when you are its sons, bright stars

    in the pitch-dark nights?

  2. وفي الاقوام كنتم خير قوم

    وفي القرآن كنتم خير أمة

    And among peoples, you were the best people,

    And in the Qur’an, you were the best nation.

  3. لكم في السراية العظمى هلال

    ويأبى اللّه إلا أن يتمه

    You have a crescent in the grand palace,

    And God insists on bringing it to fullness.
