  1. سرى بك في الهوى الموفى بعهده

    وسبحان الذي أسرى بعبده

    The one faithful to his covenant bore you by night through love.

    And glory be to Him who took His servant on a night journey.

  2. فدُس قلب المحب ولا تبالي

    فقد أرجعت صاحبه لرشده

    So trample the lover’s heart, and do not care,

    For you have brought its owner back to his senses.
