May her dwelling at al-Abraqayn and her abode be watered
He watered its meadows with abundant showers, and gave it life
by rain that, whenever it greets the dwellings, brings them to life.
Whenever he greeted the dwellings, he brought them alive

How delightful they were to me as dwellings,
So its dwellings were not more beloved to me
and how beautiful in my eyes, and how sweet!
Nor better in my eyes, nor did it have sweeter roses

And how splendid they were, and how sweet their water,
Nor more generous lodging, nor better pasture
and how noble their abode, and how lovely their pasture!
