وفي الماء عذبٌ قد علمت وأسنٌ

وفي الماء عذبٌ قد علمت وأسنٌ

وفي الناس أيضاً مُخطىءٌ ومُصيب

وفي الناس أيضاً مُخطىءٌ ومُصيب

And some water is fresh, as you already know, and some is stagnant.

In the water there is sweetness, as I have known

And among people, too, some are mistaken and some are right.

And among people there are also those who err and those who aim true
