إن وجه الطبيعة اليوم طلق
Be sober at heart, for your anguish today is folly.
My heart was truthful so I found you foolish today
Sober up, O heart, for your passion today is folly,
Indeed, nature’s face is smiling today.
Nature's face is serene today
Indeed, the face of nature today is radiant and free.

ظلمات بها ورعد وبرق
The sun adorned the sky, and away went
The river decorated the sky then disappeared
The sun has adorned the sky, and so have vanished
The darkness within it, and thunder and lightning.
With darkness, thunder, and lightning in it
The darknesses within it, along with thunder and lightning.

And light appeared from behind the dark clouds;
And light appeared from behind the disappearances
And light has emerged from behind the gloomy depths,
So there is no rain amid them today.
So there is no pounding in them today
So that today, no rain falls through the rifts.

And the sea appeared still, save for waves
And the sea appeared still without waves
The sea appeared still, save for the waves
Over which rose flocks of white birds.
Above it birds chirped loudly
Surmounted by flocks of birds, white and dappled.

With which the houses are crowned, appearing piebald.

Draping upon the hills vestments of white,
Beneath which blue under-robes appeared.
Under them blue folds appeared
Beneath which sheer blue tunics have appeared.
وإذاand behold الأرضthe earth كالسماءlike the sky رواءin beauty
وإذا الأرض كالسماء رواء
ليسthere is no بينbetween السماءthe sky والأرضand the earth فرقdifference
ليس بين السماء والأرض فرق
And behold, the earth is as fair as the sky;
And the earth is like the sky well-watered
And lo, the earth is like the sky in splendor;
There is no difference between sky and earth.
There is no difference between the sky and the earth
There is no difference between the heavens and the ground.

So the snows on earth seem clouds,
So it is as if the snow on the earth is clouds
It is as if the snows upon the earth were clouds,
And the meadows on earth seem a horizon.
And as if the meadows on earth are horizon
And as if the gardens on the earth were the horizon.

Such was the onset of clear weather: God’s painting,
That's how the drawing of God was at first wakeup
Thus was the first clearing of the weather, a design of God,
With beauty and depth in its coloring.
In its color beauty and depth
Possessing, in its hue, both beauty and depth.

مذعنا أن قدرة الله حق
My gaze was enraptured by it, and my heart surrendered,
I glanced at it and surrendered my heart
My gaze wandered therein, and my heart surrendered,
Acknowledging that God’s power is true.
Submissively believing God's power is truth
Acknowledging in submission that God's power is truth.
