The affectionate one among them is found, weak,
Their frail Arabness is wrapped up
at home, thinking her husband bound in fetters.
At home she thinks her husband chained
وَتظلand she remains خاشعةَmeek تضائلshe lowers طرفهاher gaze
وَتظل خاشعةَ تضائل طرفها
للمكرto deceive وهيand she تُفِّقperhaps 'splits'; unclear as written الجلموداthe solid boulder
للمكر وهي تُفِّق الجلمودا
And she remains meek, lowering her gaze
And stays meek, lowering her gaze
