وكل سماء لا محالة تقلعُ
I see that every wind will one day grow still,
I see every wind will calm once
And all rain will inevitably cease.
And every sky inevitably will clear

اذا ماتَ نصف الشمس والنصف ينزع
And the guests and I are together in one cloak,
While I and the guests together in an abode
When half the sun has died and the other half is withdrawing.
When half of the sun dies and half removes

My food is the guest's, and my dwelling is his.
My food is guest's food and journey is journey's
And no veiled gazelle has distracted me from him.
And no veiled gazelle distracted me from it

I converse with him: conversation is indeed part of hospitality,
I talk to him that talk is from the villages
And my soul knows that he will fall asleep.
And my soul knows it will settle down
