But our state is unchanged by her flight

Our excellence is known through our words,
We have spent our lives hoping in her
and kings' generosity through their deeds.
Awaiting favor in her favor

We do not fault the dripping of your clouds
Neglected dues, while glory lies dormant
upon us, nor deny their pouring rain.
Doubtless forgotten, from neglect

So spur our fervor with a glance
your hands' generosity or their gifts.
To kindle the fire of zeal in our souls

in a state of whose household we are.
For you to reach the hopes you instilled

awaiting good fortune as hers advances.

And claims to respect were neglected; glory is angry
Fear no loss if supported by you
for our sake, surely, at their neglect.
No stumbling if swift steps hurry her pace

whose course the winds cannot traverse.

climbing their mountains' summits in your praise.

A day that recounted your merit shone for us
nor any stumble from their haste.
