مُوَفَّقٌ لِسبيلِ الرُشدِ مُتَّبِعٌ

مُوَفَّقٌ لِسبيلِ الرُشدِ مُتَّبِعٌ

يَزينُهُ كُلُّ ما يُؤتى وَيَجتَنِبُ

يَزينُهُ كُلُّ ما يُؤتى وَيَجتَنِبُ

Guided to the path of rectitude, he follows it;

Guided on the path of righteousness, a follower,

All he undertakes and all he shuns adorn him.

Adorned by all the virtues he attains and evils he avoids.

تَسمو العُيونُ إِلَيهِ كُلَّما اِنفَرَجَت

تَسمو العُيونُ إِلَيهِ كُلَّما اِنفَرَجَت

لِلناسِ عَن وَجهِهِ الأَبوابُ وَالحُجُبُ

لِلناسِ عَن وَجهِهِ الأَبوابُ وَالحُجُبُ

Eyes lift toward him whenever there is a parting

Eyes look up to him whenever doors and veils are opened

Of doors and veils, revealing his face to the people.

For people from his luminous face and noble brow.

لَهُ خَلائِقُ بيضٌ لا يُغَيِّرُها

لَهُ خَلائِقُ بيضٌ لا يُغَيِّرُها

صَرفُ الزَمانِ كَما لا يَصدَأُ الذَهَبُ

صَرفُ الزَمانِ كَما لا يَصدَأُ الذَهَبُ

He has virtues, pure white, that are not altered

He has pure morals time does not change,

By time’s vicissitudes, just as gold does not rust.

As gold does not tarnish no matter how time may range.
