إِنّindeed ظَنّيmy expectation بِمَنof Him whom عَصيتُI have disobeyed جَميلٌgood
أَتراهُdo you think Him مُعذِّبيmy punisher ماnot أَظنُّI think
Indeed, I think well of Him whom I have disobeyed.
My hopes in him whom I've disobeyed are good
Do you think He will punish me? I think not.
Do I think he'll torment me? I think not
ماnot أَراهُI see Him إِلّاexcept يَجودُHe gives generously بِعَفوٍwith forgiveness
إِنَّindeed قَلبيmy heart بِعَفوِهِof His forgiveness مُطمَئِنُassured
I see Him only lavishing forgiveness.
I only see him being generous with pardon
Indeed, my heart is assured of His forgiveness.
My heart is reassured by his forgivingness
حاشَfar be it لِلّهfrom God أَنthat يَخيِّبُHe should disappoint ظَنيmy hope
إِنَّهُindeed, it is the case that لاnot يَخيبُis disappointed فيin اللَهِGod ظَنُّa hope
Far be it from God to disappoint my hope.
Far be it from God to disappoint my hopes
Indeed, no hope placed in God is disappointed.
Surely hopes in God are never disappointed
