الروضُ يَجرُّ مطرفيه

والغصنُ يدعوكم إليه

The garden trails its two bordered mantles.

The garden drags its skirts

And the bough invites you all to it.

And the branch calls you to it

أم تحسبنا للغصونِ ظلاً

أم تحسبنا للغصونِ ظلاً

أهلاً بجميعكم وسَهْلا

أهلاً بجميعكم وسَهْلا

Or do you think us a shade for the boughs?

Or do you think we are shadows for the branches

والطيرُ يُحارب المزاهرْ

والجلْيُ يُفاخر الأزاهرْ

والجلْيُ يُفاخر الأزاهرْ

And the birds do battle with the lutes.

The bird fights the flowers

And the lustre vies in splendour with the blossoms.

The torrent competes with the flowers

والمجلسُ بالحبيب زاهرْ

والمجلسُ بالحبيب زاهرْ

ما أحسنَه وما أجلاّ

ما أحسنَه وما أجلاّ

And the gathering is radiant with the beloved.

The gathering with the beloved is flourishing

How beautiful it is, and how magnificent!
