حزتِ العُلا بكمالِك

O rarity of the world, indeed,

you have attained eminence through your perfection.

Attained supremacy through your perfection

جُمعت لكِ الآدابُ ح

جُمعت لكِ الآدابُ ح

تى إنهنَّ كما لَكِ

تى إنهنَّ كما لَكِ

The literary arts were gathered for you—

All virtues are gathered in you

until, indeed, they are like what is yours.

As if they were made for you

وملكتِ أفئدةَ الورى

وملكتِ أفئدةَ الورى

فالناسُ فيك كمالِك

فالناسُ فيك كمالِك

And you have possessed the hearts of humankind;

You have captivated the hearts of mankind

so people are like Malik where you are concerned.

So people see your perfection in you

إن قايسوك بمالكٍ

إن قايسوك بمالكٍ

ألفوك أملك مالك

ألفوك أملك مالك

If they compare you with Malik,

If they compare you to an angel

they find you the most commanding of masters.

They find you supreme over angels
