أضحت أجنتُها أتمّ فصيلة

أضحت أجنتُها أتمّ فصيلة

منها كذاك أجنّة الأحرارِ

منها كذاك أجنّة الأحرارِ

Its embryos became more complete in lineage

Her breed became the most perfect stock

Than it—so too the embryos of the freeborn.

Among them also the free men's progeny

حَمِيت على مثل الأهلة أولاً

حَمِيت على مثل الأهلة أولاً

ثم اتصلنَ فصرنَ كالأقمارِ

ثم اتصلنَ فصرنَ كالأقمارِ

At first they grew hot upon crescent-like forms,

I protected the like of families first

Then they joined together and became like moons.

Then they connected and shone like moons
