صَاحِباً فِي الْوُدِّ لَمْ يَخُنِ
Forsake the world, for you will not find
I leave this world, and you'll no more see
A friend who has not been faithless in affection.
A friend so true who ne'er betrayed by me;
وَاجْتَنِبْand avoid مَنْanyone who لاnot تُشَاكِلُهُyou resemble him
وَاجْتَنِبْ مَنْ لا تُشَاكِلُهُ

تَنْجُ مِنْ غَدْرٍ وَمِنْ غَبَنِ
And avoid anyone you do not resemble;
Shun those with whom you have no rapport,
You will escape treachery and unfair dealing.
So shall you 'scape deceit forevermore.

Whoever runs on a racecourse not his own
Whoever strays outside their proper sphere
Will be held under suspicion.
Will be the hostage of suspicion and fear.
