Ah, the heart's burning anguish over the gazelles of the tents!

Wine itself almost grows drunk from their eyes.

Each maiden, swaying like a bough, has gathered

Marvels, all of them gleaming adornments of beauty.

For the eye is a narcissus, and the hair a lily,

And the breast a pomegranate, and the cheek an apple.
