إِذَاif كَانَis أَمْرُthe decree اللَّهِof God حَتْمَاًan inevitability مُقَدَّرَاًordained
إِذَا كَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ حَتْمَاً مُقَدَّرَاً
فَمَاذَاthen what يُفِيدُavails الْحِرْصُanxious striving وَالأَمْرُand the decree وَاقِعُbound to occur
فَمَاذَا يُفِيدُ الْحِرْصُ وَالأَمْرُ وَاقِعُ
If God's decree is an ordained inevitability,
If the decree of God is fate and destiny
then what use is anxious striving, when the decree is bound to occur?
What use is wariness or striving, His will shall be
