يَاO مَنْthe One who إِلَيْهِto Him الْوُجُوهُthe faces خَاشِعَةٌhumbly bowed
وَمَنْand the One who عَلَيْهِon Him فِيin الْكَوْنِthe universe مُعْتَمَدِيmy reliance
O You to whom faces bow in humility,
O You to Whom faces are humbly turned
And on whom I rely in this world,
And on Whom all creatures depend
مَدَدْتُI stretched out كَفِّيmy palm إِلَيْكَto You مُبْتَهِلاًimploring
وَأَنْتَand You حَسْبِيsufficient for me فَلاso do not تَرُدَّturn away يَدِيmy hand
I have stretched out my palm to You in supplication,
I stretch out my palms to You, entreating
And You are sufficient for me, so do not turn my hand away.
You are enough for me, so do not spurn my plea
