Your self has lied to you making you a liar
How, then, can you be right, when your heart and tongue belie each other?
So when will you get it right, you petty liar?

your salt-barren stock may make the necessary impossible.
Your stale nature may turn duty into void

O false scion of heaven’s Jupiter, look closely:
You claimed to be a heavenly Virgo out of pretense
for the lion has gathered mighty lions and spiders.
So the lion included scorpions and spiders

Never, nor does it elevate the thorns of argument

Alas! One dressed in chivalry can never be
who spent the night profiting from folly’s false coin.
One who at night is a profiteer of idiocy

Whose pockets have gathered the smooth paths?
