نقيّ ثيابِ العرضِ من كلّ شائنِ
We found you in the bathhouse—may you always remain pure,
We found you in the bath still pure
With the garments of your honor free from every blemish.
Clean of clothing from any fault

يُبلّغُ عنّا بعضَ ما في البواطنِ
We returned and left behind a note of greeting,
And we returned and left a note of greeting
Conveying on our behalf some of what lies deep within.
To convey from us some of what is in our inner thoughts
