وَأُطفِئ بِالمواصلةِ اِشتياقي
My dear son, when shall we at last meet,
My son when will we meet
And I quench my longing through our reunion?
And with communication extinguish my longing
فَهاso behold هيَthey قَدindeed عَدتنيhave kept me away عنfrom حِماكمyour haven

عوادٍ قَد عَزَمن على شقاقي
For behold, they have kept me from your haven—
Returning after determining my misery
Adversities resolved to oppose me.
Perhaps God will end it quickly

May God swiftly cut them off
And unite us after the separation
And reunite us after separation.
