Sol 6.1

  1. أَتَذكرُ إِذ مَسحتَ بفيكَ عيني

    وَقَد حلّ البكاءُ بها عقوده

    Do you remember when you wiped my eye with your mouth,

    while weeping had unstrung its necklaces there?

  2. ذَكرتَ بأنّ ريقكَ ماءُ وردٍ

    فَقابلتَ الحرارةَ بِالبُروده

    You said that your saliva was rosewater,

    so you countered heat with coolness.
