الحقُّ كالصبحِ تمتازُ الرجالُ بهِ

الحقُّ كالصبحِ تمتازُ الرجالُ بهِ

لا بِالرجالِ يكونُ الميزُ للحقِّ

لا بِالرجالِ يكونُ الميزُ للحقِّ

Truth, like dawn, is that by which men are distinguished;

it is not by men that truth is discerned.

وَإنّما العكسُ مِن أوساخِ فلسفةٍ

وَإنّما العكسُ مِن أوساخِ فلسفةٍ

في مَنطقٍ ما له بالحقّ من نطقِ

في مَنطقٍ ما له بالحقّ من نطقِ

The reverse is but the filth of a philosophy,

in a logic that has nothing true to say.
