بيرمُ الخامسُ الهُدى
نورهُhis light مُشرقاًradiant بداappeared
نورهُ مُشرقاً بدا
Bayram the Fifth is guidance.
His light appeared, radiant.
لاحَshone نجماًas a star بِأفقهمon their horizon
لاحَ نجماً بِأفقهم
فَهوَso he يهديguides مَنِwhoever اِقتدىfollowed his example
فَهوَ يهدي مَنِ اِقتدى
He shone as a star on their horizon.
So he guides whoever follows his example.
دُمتَmay you remain منهon his account مهنّأcongratulated
دُمتَ منه مهنّأ
مُرغماًhumbling سائرَall العِداthe enemies
مُرغماً سائرَ العِدا
May you ever be congratulated on his account,
Humbling all enemies.
وَهوَand he يَسموrises مؤرّخاًcommemorated in a chronogram
وَهوَ يَسمو مؤرّخاً
بَيرمُBayram الخامسُthe Fifth الهُدىguidance
بَيرمُ الخامسُ الهُدى
And he rises, commemorated in a chronogram:
Bayram the Fifth is guidance.
