ياربِّO my Lord صلِّsend blessings علىupon الذيthe one whom شُغِفَwas deeply enamored الوَرىhumankind
ياربِّ صلِّ على الذي شُغِفَ الوَرى
بِخِصالهِwith his virtues ، وبِصَحبهِand with his companions ، وبِآلهِand with his family
بِخِصالهِ ، وبِصَحبهِ ، وبِآلهِ
O my Lord, send blessings upon him whom humankind loves deeply
O Lord, bless the one whom the world is enamored with
for his virtues, his companions, and his family.
For his qualities, his companions, and his family
سَلِّمgrant peace عليهupon him ماwhenever استهلّتdawned جُمعةٌa Friday
سَلِّم عليه ما استهلّت جُمعةٌ
واغفرand forgive لمُشتاقٍfor one who yearns لفَيضِfor the outpouring of جَمالهِhis beauty
واغفر لمُشتاقٍ لفَيضِ جَمالهِ
Grant him peace whenever a Friday dawns,
Greet him whenever a Friday commences
and forgive one who yearns for the outpouring of his beauty.
And forgive those longing for the grace of his beauty
