ياربِّ ، لي إخوةٌ في الشامِ ما برحوا

ياربِّ ، لي إخوةٌ في الشامِ ما برحوا

يحيونَ تحتَ جحيمِ البُؤسِ والوجَعِ

O Lord, I have brothers in the Levant who still

O Lord, I have brothers in Syria who have not left

live beneath the inferno of misery and pain.

They live under the hell of misery and pain

فارفع إلهيَ عنهم كل نازلةٍ

فارفع إلهيَ عنهم كل نازلةٍ

وارزقهمُ الأمنَ بعد الخوفِ والفزَعِ

وارزقهمُ الأمنَ بعد الخوفِ والفزَعِ

So lift every calamity from them, my God,

So remove from them, my God, every affliction

and grant them safety after fear and terror.

And grant them safety after fear and panic
