أتظنdo you think منwhoever يحياlives سيقضيwill reach his end سالماunscathed
أتظن من يحيا سيقضي سالما
منwho قالsaid : إنthat السالمينthe unscathed رجالُmen ؟
من قال : إن السالمين رجالُ ؟
Do you think whoever lives will reach his end unscathed?
Do you think whoever lives will spend their time safely?
Who said that the unscathed are men?
Who said the unharmed ones are all men?
سرkeep going . لاdo not تقفstop فالشامتونfor those who gloat مُناهمُtheir wishes
سر . لا تقف فالشامتون مُناهمُ
ألاthat ... not يطيبbe pleasant لمثلfor the like of روحكyour soul حالُa condition
ألا يطيب لمثل روحك حالُ
Keep going; do not stop, for those who gloat wish
Walk on. Don't stand still, for the gloaters their places
That a soul like yours should never fare well.

لاdo not ترمthrow للعثراتto setbacks كلكyour whole self كلماwhenever
لا ترم للعثرات كلك كلما
لقيَتكthey meet you ماnot كلevery العثارstumble تُقالُis remedied
لقيَتك ما كل العثار تُقالُ
Do not surrender your whole self to setbacks whenever
Do not blame all of yourself whenever
They meet you; not every stumble can be remedied.
You are faced with that which all stumblers face
قمrise طامحاaspiring بعضsome الطموحambition تجاسرdaring
قم طامحا بعض الطموح تجاسر
تدنوdraw near لصاعدهto the one climbing it ذُرًىsummits وجبالُand mountains !
تدنو لصاعده ذُرًى وجبالُ !
Rise, aspiring: some ambition is daring;
Rise up aspiring, aspiring some aspiration
Peaks and mountains draw near to the one who climbs it!
