يا أَيُّها الظالِمُ في فِعلِهِ
وَالظُلمُand injustice مَردودٌreturned عَلىupon مَنwhoever ظَلَمdid wrong
وَالظُلمُ مَردودٌ عَلى مَن ظَلَم
O you who are unjust in your deeds,
O you who are unjust in your deed
And injustice rebounds upon whoever does wrong.
Oppression rebounds upon the oppressor
إِلىuntil مَتىwhen أَنتَyou وَحَتّىand until مَتىwhen
إِلى مَتى أَنتَ وَحَتّى مَتى
تَشكوyou complain of المُصيباتmisfortunes وَتَنسىand you forget النِعَمblessings
تَشكو المُصيبات وَتَنسى النِعَم
