إِنَّ القَناعَةَ ما عَلِمتَ غِنىً

إِنَّ القَناعَةَ ما عَلِمتَ غِنىً

وَالحِرصُ يورِثُ ذا الغِنى فَقرا

وَالحِرصُ يورِثُ ذا الغِنى فَقرا

Contentment, as you know, is wealth;

Indeed, contentment, as you know, is wealth.

while greed makes the wealthy poor.

And greed brings poverty to the wealthy.
