حَتّىuntil تَبَدّىappeared الصُبحُthe dawn يَتلوfollowing الدُجىthe darkness
كَالحَبشِيِّlike an Abyssinian اِفتَرَّparted his lips لِلضَحِكِto laugh
Until dawn appeared, following the darkness,
like an Abyssinian parting his lips in laughter.
