إِنَّ التَجَنّي قاطِعُ الرفدِ

إِنَّ التَجَنّي قاطِعُ الرفدِ

وَالغَيظُ يُخرِجُ كامِنَ الحِقدِ

وَالغَيظُ يُخرِجُ كامِنَ الحِقدِ

Indeed, unjust blame cuts off support.

In counsel lies the balm for pain

And anger brings out hidden resentment.

And anger wakeful sense of wrong

فَاِقبَل أَخاكَ عَلى تَغَيُّرِه

فَاِقبَل أَخاكَ عَلى تَغَيُّرِه

وَاِرعَ الَّذي قَد كانَ مِن عَهدِ

وَاِرعَ الَّذي قَد كانَ مِن عَهدِ

So accept your brother despite his change,

So greet your brother, changed again

And honor the bond that once existed.

And tend the tie once warp and strong
