Indeed, a life whose destination is death
Life leads surely to death
surely cannot have enduring joy.
Its joys cannot endure
وَسُرورٌand a joy يَكونis آخِرَهits end المَوdeath (first part)

And joy whose end is death—
All pleasure ends in woe
little or much of it is all the same.
Be it brief or long endured
