راشد العاشقين زد لي فؤادي

من هواك الذي تنيل المحبين

من هواك الذي تنيل المحبين

O guide of lovers, give my heart more

O Rashid, enliven my heart for your love

Of your love, which you bestow upon lovers.

That brings ecstasy to lovers' souls

واجْعَلَنَّ القلبَ الذي مُنْسَبٌ لي

واجْعَلَنَّ القلبَ الذي مُنْسَبٌ لي

حاكياً للقلوب بَيْتَ المُلَبّينْ

حاكياً للقلوب بَيْتَ المُلَبّينْ

And surely make the heart that belongs to me

Make this heart attributed to me

A likeness, for hearts, of the House of those answering the call.

Echo the hearts' abode of yearning

واجْعَلَنِّي يا غاية البُغْيَتَين

واجْعَلَنِّي يا غاية البُغْيَتَين

أينما كنت قطب كل المربِّينْ

أينما كنت قطب كل المربِّينْ

And surely make me, O goal of both desires,

And make me, O object of my desire

Wherever I may be, the pole of all mentors.

The pole of all who nurture devotion

وأكمل النُّعمى لي إلى أن أكونا

وأكمل النُّعمى لي إلى أن أكونا

ملجأ للضعاف ثم المُسَبِّينْ

ملجأ للضعاف ثم المُسَبِّينْ

And complete the blessing for me, until I become

Perfect my blindness until we become

A refuge for the weak, and then for those who revile.

A refuge for the weak and outcast ones
