جرى الحب في قلبي كما العلو في الأرض

جرى الحب في قلبي كما العلو في الأرض

وأُبدي من بعضي وأُخفي في بعضي

وأُبدي من بعضي وأُخفي في بعضي

Love flowed through my heart as loftiness through the earth.

Love flowed in my heart, like streams on the land

And I reveal it from part of myself and conceal it in part of myself.

Revealing in parts, concealing in strands

ولو قسَّمَ الأكوانُ ما فيَّ من هوى

ولو قسَّمَ الأكوانُ ما فيَّ من هوى

لأُفْعِمَتِ الأكوانُ في العلو والأرض

لأُفْعِمَتِ الأكوانُ في العلو والأرض

And if the worlds divided up the passion within me,

If the universe divided the love I hold

The worlds would be filled to the brim, in the heights and on earth.

The cosmos with ardor, would amply unfold
