ثلاثٌthree things يعيشlives المرءa person فيهاin them مكرَّماًhonored
ثلاثٌ يعيش المرء فيها مكرَّماً
يعظمهesteems him كلُّall الورَىhumankind ويشرِّفُand honors
يعظمه كلُّ الورَى ويشرِّفُ
Through three things a person lives in honor;
Three things make a man live honored:
all humankind esteem and honor him.
When all people magnify and glorify him.
هوit العفْوُforgiveness عمنof whomever شاءَhe wishes سرّاًprivately وجهرةًand openly
هو العفْوُ عمن شاءَ سرّاً وجهرةً
علىin كلِّevery حالٍcircumstance والتُّقَىand piety والتلطفُand gentleness
على كلِّ حالٍ والتُّقَى والتلطفُ
They are forgiving whomever he wishes, privately and openly,
It is to forgive who so ever has offended you openly and secretly.
in every circumstance, piety, and gentleness.
In any case, act with piety and kindness.
