إذا ما حبَاك اللهُ يوماً بثروة

إذا ما حبَاك اللهُ يوماً بثروة

وعزِّ وسلطانٍ وجاهٍ فكن عدلا

If God should one day endow you with wealth,

If Allah blesses you one day with wealth

And honor, power, and prestige, then be just.

And power, status and fame, be just

فإنكَ قد أسدى لك الخيرَ كلَّه

فإنكَ قد أسدى لك الخيرَ كلَّه

فمهلا بخلقِ الله مهلا بهم مهلا

فمهلا بخلقِ الله مهلا بهم مهلا

For He has indeed bestowed all goodness upon you.

For He has granted you all goodness

So be gentle with God's creatures—gentle with them, gentle.

So be gentle with Allah's people, be gentle, be gentle
