I see the bān tree, its stature proudly displaying its sway.
I see the full moon, wandering aimlessly
And it stood before us, proudly drawing attention with its sway.
As it rises for us, wandering and awakening
يَقولُit says اِستحقّhas earned التيهَpride قَدّيmy stature بِمَيسِهِthrough its swaying
يَقولُ اِستحقّ التيهَ قَدّي بِمَيسِهِ
لِأَنَّbecause بِهِto it قَدَّthe figure المليحِof the fair one يشبَّهُis likened
لِأَنَّ بِهِ قَدَّ المليحِ يشبَّهُ
It says, “My stature deserves pride for its sway,
It says it deserves its wandering with its magnificence
for the fair one's figure is likened to it.”
For with it, it resembles the beautiful one
