فَأَبلِغ إِن عَرَضتَ بَني كِلابٍ

فَأَبلِغ إِن عَرَضتَ بَني كِلابٍ

وَعامِرَ وَالخُطوبُ لَها مَوالي

وَعامِرَ وَالخُطوبُ لَها مَوالي

So inform the sons of Kilab, if you encounter them,

and Amir—for calamities have their kin.

وَبَلِّغ إِن عَرَضتَ بَني نُمَيرٍ

وَبَلِّغ إِن عَرَضتَ بَني نُمَيرٍ

وَأَخوالَ القَتيلِ بَني هِلالِ

وَأَخوالَ القَتيلِ بَني هِلالِ

And inform the sons of Numayr, if you encounter them,

and the slain man's maternal uncles, the sons of Hilal,

بِأَنَّ الوافِدَ الرَحّالَ أَمسى

بِأَنَّ الوافِدَ الرَحّالَ أَمسى

مُقيماً عِندَ تَيمَنَ ذي ظِلالِ

مُقيماً عِندَ تَيمَنَ ذي ظِلالِ

that the much-traveling envoy has now become

a dweller beside Tayman of the shades.
