The sons of al-Dayyān never utter “no”;
And the sons of al-Dayyan do not utter 'No';
while “yes” comes lightly upon their tongues.
And 'Yes' comes easily to their tongues.

Their forbearance adorns their noble lineage,
Their forbearance has adorned their noble lineages;
and thus forbearance is an adornment to generosity.
And likewise, forbearance is an adornment to nobility.
